Perfectly poached pears.

Serves 4



Ingredients

Pears
500ml Red grape juice
1tsp Cinnamon ground
1tsp Vanilla essence
Squirty cream - optional

Peel and core the pears, pop them in a saucepan and cover with red grape juice, add the cinnamon and vanilla. Cook on medium without boiling the liquid, cook until the pears are soft. Serve with the cooking liquid, and a bit of squirty cream if you fancy.
