Beef burgers.

Makes 8 small burgers.

Ingredients:

1 Leek thinly sliced
500g Mince
150g breadcrumbs
1tsp mustard powder
1 Egg
2tsp Mixed Herbs
1tsp garlic granules or minced garlic clove
Salt and pepper
2tbs Olive oil
1 Tomato sliced
1 Lettuce
Pickles
Burger buns
Ketchup

Fry the leeks in olive oil until soft, then mix using your hands with the beef, breadcrumbs, mustard, egg, herbs, garlic, salt and pepper.
Make 8 balls from the mixture, flatten them out and fry or grill until cooked through: about 8 minutes, check the inside of the largest one to see if it is done, or use a meat thermometer.

Serve with cheese, tomatoes, lettuce and condiments.
