Lamb broth soup.

 Serves 4. Ingredients Cooked lamb bones and meat 6 Carrots 5 Celery sticks 2 x minced garlic cloves 2 x chicken stock cubes 1tsp Thyme 1 Bay leaf 1tsp Oregano 1tsp Basil 1tsp Salt 1/2 tsp Pepper Method Peel and slice carrots and celery, mince garlic, crumble stock cubes, put all ingredients into a large pan and cover with boiling water. Heat on high until boiling, then turn to low and cook for 2 hours. Remove the lamb, take the meat off the bone and cut into bite size pieces, place some of the lamb into each bowl and add the remaining soup. James's vegan chocolate delight

Ingredients Montezumas peanut butter mini eggs 1tsp Jim Jams chocolate caramel 1sbs orange blossom honey 1 orange Melt the eggs in the microwave, mix in the caramel sauce, then drizzle over the honey. This chocolate sauce is amazing to dip Oranges into. Such a beautiful recipe, my son made for me for mother's day. Donate to help me make more recipes.

Pizza on Toast.

Ingredients Bread Tomato passata Cheese grated Toppings like pineapple and pepperami. Salt and pepper Lightly toast the bread, spread with passata as if it were butter, pop some cheese and toppings on, season (taste your cheese to see how salty it is and adjust seasoning) then grill until the cheese is melted. Midweek chicken roast.

 Serves as many as you buy ingredients for! Ingredients Chicken Potatoes - 1 per person Carrots - 1 per person Broccoli - 1 large floret per person Cauliflower - 1 large floret per person Gravy powder Salt Olive oil Peel and chop the potatoes, boil for 5 minutes, drain (save the water), then shake them in the pan to make them fluffy, dry them using a clean kitchen towel, then place on a baking tray with the chicken, cover the chicken legs in foil to prevent them from drying out, drizzle the chicken and potatoes with olive oil and salt, then cook on gas mark 7 until the chicken is cooked through. The estimated cooking time is usually written on the chicken packaging, use a thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the chicken to check temperature. Once the chicken is done take it out the oven to rest while you cook the veggies, chop off broccoli and cauliflower florets, and slice carrots, pop them in the pan and boil for a few minutes until they are cooked but still a little fi...

Omelette.

Makes 2 large omelettes Ingredients 5 large eggs 50ml milk 75g cheese 5 slices ham Lettuce Olive oil Salt and pepper Whisk the eggs with the milk. Grate the cheese. Chop up the ham. Heat olive oil in a frying pan on medium. Pour in half of the egg mixture, push it into the centre of the pan until no more egg mixture runs into the gap.  Sprinkle toppings such as ham and cheese, then keep cooking until the underside of the omelette is a lovely golden colour and the top has cooked through. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Fold in half and then slide onto a plate. Donate to help me make more recipes.

Beef burgers.

Makes 8 small burgers. Ingredients:  1 Leek thinly sliced 500g Mince 150g breadcrumbs 1tsp mustard powder 1 Egg 2tsp Mixed Herbs 1tsp garlic granules or minced garlic clove Salt and pepper 2tbs Olive oil 1 Tomato sliced 1 Lettuce Pickles Burger buns Ketchup Fry the leeks in olive oil until soft, then mix using your hands with the beef, breadcrumbs, mustard, egg, herbs, garlic, salt and pepper. Make 8 balls from the mixture, flatten them out and fry or grill until cooked through: about 8 minutes, check the inside of the largest one to see if it is done, or use a meat thermometer. Serve with cheese, tomatoes, lettuce and condiments. Donate to help me make more recipes.

Strawberry, banana dessert.

Serves 4 Ingredients Strawberries 2 small bananas Strawberry Sauce Squirty cream Sprinkles Small punnet of strawberries, two small bananas chopped up, drizzle with your fave sauce, top with squirty cream and some sprinkles. Donate to help me make more recipes.

French toast (eggy bread).

Serves 4 Ingredients 3 eggs 100ml milk 4 slices of bread Large pack of Tenderstem broccoli Salt and pepper Olive oil Salted butter Mix 3 eggs, 100ml milk, salt and pepper into a shallow dish. Soak 4 slices of your favourite bread then fry on both sides until golden. Meanwhile in a seperate pan heat olive oil and fry the broccoli with a little butter, season and stir then plate up.   Donate to help me make more recipes.

Prawn sandwiches.

Serves 1 - unless you buy more! Ingredients Sandwich thins Cottage cheese 6 Cooked king prawns Cucumber Dill Chives Salt and pepper Extra: Roll mops Lightly toast the bread, pop on some cottage cheese, prawns, thinly sliced cucumber and dried dill, add salt and pepper to taste.  This is a very mild dish, a rollmop helps to give a flavour contrast. Fruity yogurt.

Serves 4 Ingredients 100g Blueberries 100g Raspberries 2tbs Jam 500ml Yogurt Pop the blueberries, raspberries and jam into a small bowl, mash them up, add a little yogurt and mix it in. Share the fruity mixture among bowls and add more yogurt on top, if you're feeling fancy pop a bit of fruit on top to make it look pretty. Donate to help me make more recipes.

Perfectly poached pears.

Serves 4 Ingredients Pears 500ml Red grape juice 1tsp Cinnamon ground 1tsp Vanilla essence Squirty cream - optional Peel and core the pears, pop them in a saucepan and cover with red grape juice, add the cinnamon and vanilla. Cook on medium without boiling the liquid, cook until the pears are soft. Serve with the cooking liquid, and a bit of squirty cream if you fancy.   Donate to help me make more recipes.

Bananaery pancakes.

Serves 1.   Ingredients 1 Medium banana 1 Large egg 2tbs Flour Olive oil Extras: Blueberries Yogurt Beat all ingredients together in a jug until smooth. Heat olive oil in a frying pan. Pour the mixture into the pan into about 8 small blobs, turn over once browned a little. Serve with your favourite pancake toppings such as yogurt and blueberries. Salmon on toast with asparagus.

Ingredients Small tin of salmon  Small bunch of asparagus Bread Butter Salt and pepper Mash the salmon into the juice it came with in the tin.  Toast the bread. Fry the asparagus in olive oil and a little butter for a delicious caremalised top.  Pop the salmon onto the toast and plate up with the asparagus. Season both with salt and pepper. Nutty snack.

  Snacks. Dried fried nuts are absolutely delicious and moreish. Especially almonds. Pop your nuts into a hot dry pan on medium heat and move them around until they are a light brown colour. They burn quite quickly so watch over them, take them out of the pan as soon as they're done. Leave them to cool a little before scoffing, or popping on your fave food like museli or porridge. Leftover rice and veg.

Serves 1 Ingredients Leftover rice refrigerated Leftover veg such as carrots and broccoli Garlic clove chopped small 1cm Ginger chopped small 1 egg Soy sauce Olive oil Chop up the veggies, heat oil in pan, stir fry the egg a little bit until it is nearly cooked, add garlic and ginger add day old rice and fluff up in the pan, add veggies fry until it's piping hot, then add some soy sauce, salt and pepper for seasoning.   Donate to help me make more recipes.
